Us
The all new Float N’ Flag is setting new standards for
the Canadian retail dive industry. With decades of diving experience,
we (as divers) understand what you (as divers) want and need,
and we’ll keep asking you so we never get tired of meeting
your needs.
We have moved and revamped our retail area. Our merchandise
line-up is a blend of the solid favourites and a selection
of the latest
innovative products from the industry’s top manufacturers.
You’ll
also find new items like dry suits and a stunning new line of
wetsuits. Please drop by and tour the store to see what’s
new and exciting. We also have added a resource library. Drop
by and relax in the comfortable environment while you review
the resource materials. If you have kids, bring them along and
while you browse, let them have some fun in the new Kidz Zone,
featuring a colouring area and the all new Nintendo Wii game, “Oceans
Below.”
We are also in the process of adding more courses and educational
seminars to help keep your training up to date and to facilitate
new learning. Whether you want to find out more about dry suit
diving or want to hear about rebreathers, the Float N’ Flag
will try to keep you updated on the latest trends. We’ll
also have more certification courses available to allow you
to keep improving your skills.
For those who like to snorkel, you will be happy to learn that
the Float N’ Flag will be developing and offering courses
for you as well. Courses will focus on proper techniques, the
right equipment and other topics like photography. Please also
let us know if you would be interested in participating in a
snorkeling trip. Dive trips have been taking place for decades
and offer a great opportunity to get together with others that
share your passion for the world underwater. If we get enough
interest from you, our customers, we’ll plan our first
ever snorkeling trip to one of the best snorkeling destinations
so you can enjoy a pampered week with the Float N’ Flag
crew.
The new Float and Flag Partners are Dean McConnachie, Brad
Snyder and Tammy Snyder. As entrepreneurs that have each started
and
run successful businesses with domestic and international clients,
we appreciate what it takes to service our customers with excellence.
Each of us are passionate divers and are committed to making
your diving experience the best it can be. In other words,
we want you to love diving as much as we love diving. To do
that,
we want you to be comfortable with all your current skills
